Eyemusic

Nahal Vahdat was born in Tehran, Iran in 1983.  She completed her Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts at Concordia University with a Major in Painting and Drawing.  Her latest series pays tribute to the biggest influence in her life, Jazz Music.  Nahal expresses her admiration through the use of bold, expressive colors and text in contrast with classic black and white portraits of iconic jazz figures and musicians ranging from the eras of the 1920s to the 1960s.
