William Campbell was educated in Scotland, Pakistan and Canada, graduating from l’École des Beaux Arts de Montréal. He was a graphic designer, artist, teacher and wicked caricaturist.

William's zest for life was irrepressible and his enthusiasm was impossible to resist. William collected friends wherever he went and treasured his friendships dearly. He loomed large in their lives and was treasured in return. William died on February 1 after a valiant struggle with prostate cancer. He will be sorely missed by all of those whose lives he touched.

A retrospective of his work will be exhibited in the gallery and a share of the proceeds will be donated to NOVA West Island.
