Wendy Tillett was born and raised in Montreal, Canada. Starting to paint at the very early age of two. Her mother, Maggie, a painter herself, would set Wendy up with paints and canvas and let her paint along side of her. Throughout her childhood and adolesence, Wendy was always creating drawings and paintings. After high school, she went on to study Fine Arts in Montreal (John Abbott College & Concordia University). Emily Carr College of Art & Design in the West Coast city of Vancouver was her next stop.

After a very enjoyable 3 years of painting and printmaking, Wendy returned to Montreal. The love for animals and the evironment is a passion for Wendy and she applies this in her very colorful canvases. The endangered species is of special interest to her and painting them is a way of making her audience more sensitive and aware of those animals.

Wendy Tillett has exhibited in many group and solo shows thoughout Canada. She now lives with her husband Trevor, and two young boys Dawson and Carter in the village of Senneville, Quebec. Wendy happily paints in her studio; sometimes with little helpers by her side.
