Nostalgia Mina Sariaslani was born in Tehran, Iran in 1951. Throughout her life, she has expanded her knowledge of the visual arts through many painting and drawing courses. Mina uses warm hues and rich colors to portray the lives of individuals from her cultural background in their many facets. She is particularly drawn to and inspired by photographs of people who tell stories with their eyes. This series incorporates both oil paintings and dry pastel works.
