At a very young age I held a pencil and enjoyed drawing; I have since rediscovered the desire to draw as an adult and have been persistently pursuing this passion.  

I have always preferred projects that require working with precision and definition.  Painting has given me the chance to be free and let go of my imagination without searching for infinite detail.

Among many subjects such as people, the sea and landscape views, flowers have become my favorite.  I can be choosy and paint my subjects in various ways; some with sensitivity and finesse, thoroughness and precision for some and for others with more freedom of movement. The language of flowers is multicultural…. We show gratitude with flowers, we say we love with flowers, we express sorrow with flowers, we remember and many other events!

I work in two different fashions depending on the elements of the work undertaken: oil or acrylic.  I love using the smearing technique together with collage.  Other than brushes, the spatula is a fine tool that I particularly favour; it allows me to create textured bases while using vibrant colours.  Reds, yellow ocher and blues are my favourites.  Finally joining a mix of shadows and lights, I can give the final special touch to produce my art.
