MY GOAL IS TO PAINT, AND SELL FABULOUS ART ...TO PEOPLE WHO LOVE IT

Born the fourth and last child to excellent parents, Julie and her family followed her father's military career across Canada until finally settling in Montreal.

After achieving her degree in Photography, and design (and a short career in Stand-up comedy), Julie set her sights on her love of nature, and lust for travel.

Her most recent adventure was a four year stint in Louisiana; where she was the sole artist to a wealthy businessman who was building a 40,000 sq.ft. mansion. She toiled at several ceiling murals, wall treatments, and furniture adornments. Miss Julie was also sent on courses to learn the techniques of ancient tile, and glass painting.                                                                                                                                                  "I became a much better artist, and painter in those years. I know now that I can paint anything on anything."

Now reestablishing again in Montreal, she is back to the canvas, feistier than ever. "It's the recognition between self and nature that summarizes my work....I hope the viewer will hesitate when passing a piece of my art, and say 'What the......',and smile".

When Julie is not painting...she can be seen photographing road kill on the side of a highway, working in her garden, or trying to beat her husband in golf. She has one excellent daughter.
