Art to the Rescue! Animal art fundraiser at Galerie Ouest

Galerie Ouest is going to the dogs - and cats- with an animal-themed fundraiser to benefit two local animal adoption centres: Rosie Animal Adoption and Animatch.  Artists from the West Island, Montreal and Ontario have generously offered their work for exhibition and sale, with 50% of the sales being donated to the animal charities.  This juried show features a wide variety of media: watercolours, acrylics, oils, mixed media, mosaics, sculpture, jewelry, textiles, photography, papier maché, linocuts, wood and more.

The exhibition will be held in the gallery from November 5-10, 2009. Proceeds from the art sales will be divided equally between the artists and the animal charities.
